What do you think about going braless?

I live in SF and women go braless all the time here. It's really no big deal. No one is going to notice for a Starbucks run. I wouldn't recommend jogging or anything like that

As a nursing mom myself and only a ddd cup is never go without a bra. I wear plenty of nursing tank tops with a tshirt on top or by themselves at home. The nipples are so large it's headlight city.

I'm a 38D and feel the same. Wouldn't do it when I was a C cup either. Or an A cup. But that's me.

OP you're nursing so IMO you need the support. Go braless around the house. But when you go out? Yeah.. wear one.

I swear, so many DC area women are uptight.

Who says it's not "appropriate" if someone can tell you are not wearing a bra? I didn't know we had the Morality police like extremist Islams do, going around checking if women are wearing bras. lol.

It's just common courtesy to wear a bra. there are a lot of concessions we make when we live in a community of other people, sometimes putting your own comfort second, is one of them.

Actually, I think it might be a gay culture thing. The most frequent "obvious nipple sightings" are in lesbian/queer heavy communities. So it doesn't seem to be because someone is "uptight". I think it's some kind of sexual-preference signifier.

Seriously. It's quite common here in Brooklyn.

Jeez, I'm amazed so many people care, and I'm a tightly-wound East Coast lady. If you are wearing an opaque, relatively loose shirt and there's no nips, I seriously don't see the problem. Half of the PPs who are tut-tutting would not even notice. I'm trust you have good judgment and are not talking about wearing a sheer white tee to work. I'm sure you can figure out where it's appropriate.

PUT A BRAWR ON.

No one wants to see it

Try a nursing tank with a shelf bra and some padding. Pea in the pod has nice ones.

For me it comes down to comfort vs. aesthetics. I go with aesthetics, but to each her own.

LOL, yes.

I'm 34G with leaky nursing boobs so I've got one on 23/7.

I used to take my bra off when I got home & changed, but my nips are way too sensitive and leaky for that now.

If I was an A or B cup, maybe. Occasionally.
