What do you think about going braless?

Capris and Crocs don't exactly scream "carefree spirit." If anything, such a person would probably be appalled at going braless in public.

Exactly. This is probably the uniform of the rabid anti-braless posters.

I'm a 32DD and am never without one (or a nursing tank for pjs). But, I don't care what you do. Hell, you could be topless and I would probably gawk a little, but wouldn't really care that much.

I hear you OP. I've never cared what others thought, so I've gone bra-less. And if I do need to wear one ... I wear a sports bra...much more comfortable and the darn straps never fall down like bras do. Women who judge other women so harshly over such trivial things really are sad bitches.

Wrong. I hate both capris and crocs. I'm currently dressed in a black sheath dress and black heels with tasteful jewelry. I like tasteful things. Tits flopping around all over isn't tasteful. Have some self respect, please.

Before I ever had kids, the first thing I would do when walking in the house after school or work was to take off my bra and breathe a sigh of relief. Now, I have an even better reason to hate bras.

What is the rule/etiquette on going braless? Never in public? What about a run to a Starbucks' drive through? What about opening the door for pizza delivery? What about pumping gas? DH is always telling me to put a bra on, and my sister reminds me that our mom hated bras and my sister was always so embarrassed when my mom went braless. I do not remember that at all or ever feeling embarrassed about it. I usually keep a hoodie on to throw on in case I will see another person, but you know, it's 100 degrees here today. Is it really that bad to go braless? If I do, I'm usually wearing a huge tshirt so I'm not trying to show anything off, but you can definitely tell things are flopping around in there.

If they are flopping put a bra on to run an errand and whip it off once you get home. My bra is the first thing that comes off when I walk into my home, I tried to walk out with the big sweat shirt but after three kids, there is no way around it if you are a C cup se on when I change my clothing. or higher. Try buying a tank that has a shelf bra, this will help contain them under your large shirt. I put one of the Not sure it's acceptable here in the US but there are countries where you would be in the norm.

Really? Where exactly would that be?

I have bigger boobs that are a bit saggy so I don't look good without a bra, except with a really supportive or camouflaging dress or top. Otherwise I look heavier and saggy. However, that is the only thing holding me back- I don't think it's obscene for people to see the outline of nipples, or anything. Not appropriate for work, but fine wherever else imo.

Very tasteful. You are a real paragon of taste.

So klassy, this one. Unclench and pull that stick out and I bet you will feel better.

That's not self-respect or tasteful. It's an apology for existing. It says "Please don't notice me."

It screams: "I'm a slave to fashion". Who wears a black sheath dress in 100 degree, 100% humid weather? Unless you live in Alaska or something, the whole of the US is in a heatwave.

You sound like a ton of fun!

Jennifer Aniston is famous for skipping the brassiere.
Even at 47.

So is Kendall Jenner and Rhianna.

Bras are uncomfortable as hell and I never have adapted to them.

So overrated too.

I'm sure I'll get bashed for this, but your examples are all thin women who have never nursed. If Jennifer Anniston were walking around bra less after nursing three kids, you wouldn't be using her as an example. I don't think your argument is "supporting" the bulk of the bra-less advocates here. They are typically the ones in the national park tee shirts and Merrill sandals.

Just wear regular soft cotton tank tops (not nursing tanks) under your shirts. Comfy but hides the goods.
