Pokemon Go???? is your DC playing?

It is so nice to see my DS spending more time outside than ever. He and his friends get together either walking or on their bikes. I have seen lots of kids outside walking either on their own, or younger kids with their parents. I wonder how long this will last... DS has been playing it since the first day it was released last week. No sign of him tiring of it.

When I was leaving for work this morning my 14 year old was already awake, dressed, and ready to go. I haven't seen him up that early all summer.

I downloaded the game myself and played for about five minutes. I grew tired of it very quickly and don't get the appeal.

IF my DS Saw this he would want t go shopping with me. Last time he did he was 10

My DS 11 actually asked to go to the grocery store with me yesterday to catch Pokemon. He found 4 in the parking lot at Giant and 3 on the drive there!!

I'd worry they'd lead the kid to a dangerous place like an offender house or something.

So all a pedophile or mugger has to do is get this app and wait for the kids to come?

Already happened. Robbers in St. Louis suburb used the game to target victims.

Overblown. One incident. Don't be so paranoid.

3 young boys were beaten and robbed two days ago playing this game. The police actually found the perps using the app. When a search warrant was issued, the adult's home where they stayed had so many stolen items it filled a van full of evidence bags.

I would not allow my kids to play that game.

Good luck with that. Your kids will be the ridiculed outliers. Life is full of risks. get over it and let your kids have a childhood.

I am up to level 9 thanks to a Pokestop at my office building. Still can't figure out the damn gym battles, though.
