I would try to help her. I would have said, "It's okay, it's okay" to both the grandma and the child, and offered to help walk with her. Two young kids and a baby is too much for an old woman.

I know what I saw. I was with other people we saw the same thing.

You and the other people watched and didn't try to help the woman, or criticize her, or anything. Just wanted and judged.
