Actually, let me elaborate on my answer. Many pieces will have chips on the corners. I filed some of them with a nail file, but I'm particular. These chips get filled in with the grout. Mine are unnoticeable and I have a lot of marble tiles in the kitchen & laundry. |
I can't comment on the tile. I can only comment on how large that bathroom is. |
| Are you suggesting that the above bathroom is ugly or not ugly? |
| Just read the garden web threads on houzz people. Stealing doesn't mean it is bullet proof and you then need to use special cleaning products and soap, including handsoap. I have a sealed backsplash and still had to work to get a stain off that I saw immediately. |
| For those with marble bathroom floors, do you find them slippery? |
I have all marble in my kitchen and laundry. All countertops and backsplash. I spill red wine, tomato sauce, and coffee on a regular basis. I often find coffe or pasta sauce that has been there for a couple days. It wipes right up. I would be surprised if I left something on it for weeks and it stained. It etches, especially from all the tomatoes I use, but it doesn't stain. Again, a very high quality sealer is important, not that crap at Home Depot. Mine actually comes with a 10 year guarantee. I could not be happier with my choice! |
