Sanders supporters are part of a "movement" - not a conventional campagin

If Hillary loses this election, her campaign will be remembered as the last gasp of Third Way centrism. Too many of her supporters can live with that. They need their Pfizer stock to stay high.

A lot of us Sanders supporters know that and will be working to do what we can to throw corporate shills out of the House and Senate. Sadly I am one who lives in DC who doesn't even have anyone in Congress, but I will be attacking plenty of other states' congress critters.

That's a shame. If you knew anything about the hill, you'd know that DWS is one of the few people who actually knows what she's doing. She's very impressive and gets things done. She's typically the only impressive person in hearings...most people on the hill are duds.

DWS lost all her credibility when she went in the tank for Hillary. Just to be clear, there is nothing wrong with any person choosing to back the candidate of their choice but DWS in her role heading up the DNC had to maintain neutrality. She failed abysmally and that alone is a reason to primary her.

I hate to even draw the comparison but the head of the RNC did try and stay neutral although it was obvious that Trump was not his preference. DWS could learn a thing or two from Priebus.

Time for DWS to go.

She is also a TERRIBLE spokesperson for Democrats.
I am a Republican, so I am critical of the Dems anyway, but she is really horrible.
She can’t even think on her feet fast enough to “spin” a logical response to tough questions.

If Hillary loses this election, Bernie's campaign and his Bernie or Bust support will be remembered as the fart that preceded the Dump. Oddly, a small number of his supporters can live with that, cocooned as they are in the privilege that they will be okay.

I don't directly own any stocks. How much do you own?

But if she wins, then it will be the final verdict on old school liberalism vs. centrism. Too many of her supporters want to keep abortion safe and legal.

This liberal actually said on CNN that he wished someone like Priebus was the spokesperson for the DNC.

Yup, if only she was as impressive of Reince Priebus.

The more I see these threads, the more excited I am to vote and campaign for Hillary. Loved how genuinely excited she was to talk to the nurses in NJ. https://www.hillaryclinton.com/feed/why-hillary-clinton-gave-clean-cookstoves-millions-women-around-world/?utm_medium=social&utm_source=fb&utm_campaign=20160520feed-cookstoves-vid

Anonymous wrote:Right now "movement" seems to be a movement to get Sanders elected president at any cost.

Sanders may not be the Democratic nominee, or the president of the United States, but if his supporters take the opportunity, they’ll accomplish what past insurgent candidacies couldn’t, and he’ll stand as a key figure in the origin story of a new left buy only if a Democrat takes the presidency. To win a lasting victory, the people inspired by Sanders need to do more than beat the establishment; they need to become it.

Origin Story? It sounds like you are talking about the Marvel Universe or something.

Yes, you know Jones backs Sanders, right? And that Weaver said "Amen!" to his remark. The reaction to this was that both men had embarrassed themselves pretty badly here. Won't hurt Weaver - he does it all the time and is just going to back to his comic book store - but Jones slipped here.

Oh, I agree with you. I also know she's very popular in her district. I don't think she's been a good DNC chair, but ironically, Bernie is just delaying the possibility of her being replaced.

This will help Canova raise more money and it's a direct shot at the White House. It's very Tea Party. It also makes Bernie look small and vengeful. But as I said, it's a test for him. Let's see how he does.
