NP here. My opinions are not based on CNN or MSNBC. They are based on direct experience with Sanders supporters, mostly on their own Facebook and Twitter feeds.

Is the same person posting multiple times as a new person?

13:09 here (and that was my first post) - Is it so hard to believe that more than one person would have a negative experience with Sanders supporters, many of whom were not Democrats or even aware of politics before this electoral cycle?

As for whether Sanders is part of a movement - a movement requires more than one guy and a bunch of followers. It requires a coherent agenda, a strategy, and some folks operating in between the Great Man and the masses.

Right now "movement" seems to be a movement to get Sanders elected president at any cost.

Sanders may not be the Democratic nominee, or the president of the United States, but if his supporters take the opportunity, they’ll accomplish what past insurgent candidacies couldn’t, and he’ll stand as a key figure in the origin story of a new left buy only if a Democrat takes the presidency. To win a lasting victory, the people inspired by Sanders need to do more than beat the establishment; they need to become it.

Get used to people saying that you are sock puppeting or trolling. It seems to be the standard MO with some on this forum who cannot imagine that there is more than one person with a particular point of view. It really is quite bizarre and it happens to both posters supporting Hillary and those supporting Sanders.

The OP is probably a Sanders supporter who is trying to sell this "crap."

The up, definitely a Bernie supporter starting this thread, probably the same one that has started a dozen different variations f Bernie supporters won't support Hillary in general threads in the last week. She needs to give it a rest.

Do I believe some Sanders supporters will refuse to vote Hillary? Yes. Do I think that represents a majority or even large minority of them? Not at all. They have eyes and brains. Letting a complete nut like Trump run the WH for a term or two won't result in us getting any closer to any progressive or liberal ideals at all.

The most hardcore of them, or some of them, come from the Occupy movement. This is what they do now.

This will be an opportunity for Bernie to demonstrate an ability to mobilize voters for a non-presidential contest: he's now backing Tim Canova, the primary challenger to DWS. Can his movement sweep the DNC chair out of office?

Bernie is a real leader with vision! Hillary represents the unimaginative person who wants the status quo. She has to be dragged kicking and screaming to a progressive agenda.

His agenda would not get through the Congress. He just wants to be president or he would have joined the party long ago and worked to change Congress instead of just joining it to run for president.

That's a shame. If you knew anything about the hill, you'd know that DWS is one of the few people who actually knows what she's doing. She's very impressive and gets things done. She's typically the only impressive person in hearings...most people on the hill are duds.

You know what would be a great achievement for Bernie? To get all his followers to vote in non-presidential elections. That alone would do more than any primary challenge. That's what the Republicans do, they vote in the off years.

Many of Sander's supporters would be the Ralph Nader's supporters of yesterday.

I *love* this!
