That's amazing. Where do you work?

I worked 1 evening per week plus all day Sat. for most of my kids' early childhood. It did suck sometimes but mostly I liked having that break after being on with them all week and it definitely helped DH to step up and be the fully in-charge parent on Saturdays. However, once my oldest was in ES, missing out on Saturdays became really, really hard. I wasn't seeing him as much during the week, couldn't go to the soccer games and so wasn't meeting the parents of his friends. I went back to work FT and it's worked much better for the ES years.

I used to log video for documentaries. So you watch the raw footage and document what's going on at what point in the video so that the production team and more easily utilize the raw stuff for their finished product. I did it through a friend. But that's something you could do from home.

Sales. We're a home improvement contractor and we get many requests from people to present at their homes on weekends so nobody has to take off work.

Senior helper? My grandma needs basically a babysitter, someone to make meals, clean house, grocery runs etc. There are home health care agencies but her best employees are people she has found by word of mouth not through an agency.

You'd have to build a clientele but if you are personable it could be a good side business. $20-25/hr seems to be going rate.

Hospitals have clerical jobs, such as unit clerk/admissions representatives, with a weekend shift. So do most nursing homes and retirement homes.

Places that host kid's birthday parties need staff on weekends.

Spas, hair salons, etc. often have receptionists who work only on weekends.
