It did suck sometimes but mostly I liked having that break after being on with them all week and it definitely helped DH to step up and be the fully in-charge parent on Saturdays. However, once my oldest was in ES, missing out on Saturdays became really, really hard. I wasn't seeing him as much during the week, couldn't go to the soccer games and so wasn't meeting the parents of his friends. I went back to work FT and it's worked much better for the ES years.[/quote]
