Tatoos -- any moms have them?

I love the tattoo. My husband loves it too. So does my daughter. I don't think that tattoos are really appropriate for work, but I have another side of myself. Shoulder blade is good because it won't get fat and saggy.

That must be lovely with a formal dress.

It is. My husband's friends all expressed jealousy at our wedding, because he landed a woman who loves baseball as much as he does, and because it looked cute with the dress.

Also because I'm not a bitch.

UGH! A tattoo in a wedding dress is the worst. I am sure his friends weren't jealous, they just wished they had been able to score with a woman so trashy. BTW- are you from Woodbridge or Manassas?

Wow. You're quite another prize. I'm from NYC, now live in DC, and can assure you that there are people in both places with better manners and different taste than you.

To each their own, people. Personally, I find bitch to much less attractive than a tattoo.

I am sure your husbands friends aren't jealous of his narrow minded, shallow, bitch of a wife! You probably make them feel better about their own spouses!

You have a tremendously narrow scope on "office situations." I work for a large, international company that fully embraces diversity. I have at one person in my department with full leg and full sleeve tattoos, and there are probably 50 more on my campus of 5,000 employees. I won't even start to mention all of the body piercings and blue, purple and green hair I see on a daily basis too.

I must admit I do have a narrow scope on "office situations". Most people I know do not work in places such as that...not because they don't want to, but just because they don't. I don't think I would mind working in an office such as that! I worked for a small company consisting of 8 people, and they have no problems with my tattoos. I wish all companies would be that open minded. Actually, I wish all people would be that open minded, but we live in an extremely judgmental society.

I thought about getting one when I was in my early 20's. I told myself to wait five years, and if I still wanted it, I would get it. I never got it, mostly because of a wedding I went to.

There is nothing worse than seeing a bride, in a strapless gown, with three random tattoos in random places. A tiger, Arabic letters, and a cartoon character are just bazaar to mix together. She was a lovely woman, but looked absolutely trashy.
