Any idea of the IQ of children in HGC/magnet programs?

How can you possibly claim that HGC kids are 145 or better when there is NO WAY that you can get their IQ score. Many of them, like my kid, have never had IQ tested that I know about. Are you claiming that the school administers an IQ test without parents knowing? I'm sure not, so unless you reveal your sources, it didn't happen.

Also, if it is for the top 2% of kids, should most kids in the HGC have IQs in the 130s and up, not 145 and up?

There are more than the typical number lot of high-scorers in the county.

Proof is in the pudding. Get your HGC child tested and you will see that they are indeed 145 and above.
