Dear TJHSST Applicant and Parent:
Good evening, final decisions for the Winter Round Class of 2020 will be released on Friday, April 1, 2016 after 6:00pm. An email message will be sent to all semi-finalist applicants and parents once the decisions are available. This is the same process as the semi-finalist notification. Decisions will be accessed only through the application portal. To ensure access to the decisions on Friday please access your account at TJHSST Admissions Online Applicant Portal: http://jasonline.fcps.edu/jase-web/jase/. If you have forgotten your username or password please click on the links below the login button. Accounts lock after five (5) unsuccessful attempts. Please use the support form: http://itweb.fcps.edu/JASE/ for assistance to unlock your account. If you have questions about the admissions decisions, please contact the Admissions Office at 571-423-3770 or tjadmissions@fcps.edu. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. To learn more about the final decision process, go to: http://www.fcps.edu/pla/TJHSST_Admissions/dec_freshman_winter_final.html Admissions decisions will not be released prior to Friday, April 1, 2016 at 6:00pm. Don't tell me you actually believe an official from TJ not only visits DCUM but actually post??? Come on, someone is clearly playing a joke and even give it to you by telling you that the announcement will be on April 1st!! Now it's time for you to LOL

Nope. The official e-mail correspondence to parents and applicants came out last night saying 4/1 after 6:00. Makes sense-- they usually release late March/early April on a Friday evening. They put 4/30 in as the last day they can release so they have a buffer. And as crazy as it sounds, I believe this is real after getting the email. Teacher recommendation deadline was only moved forward by a few days, and they were due a day or 2 before SIS. TJ say that everyone on the committee reviews the whole file. So it may be that they were not planning to review until mid-Feb when the teacher recs came in. Last year, they released decisions in late March, despite a zillion snow days. It will be nice to just know. |

You must not have a kid in the process. We received an email from the admissions people notifying us of the decision date. Some PP simply cut and pasted the email. |
