Men- did your view of your wife change when you had children?

My dh was wonderful before during and after. He took care of me when I was stuck, supported me when I was on hospitalized bed rest and now that our lovely DD is here he not only pulls equal childcare weight but we're having the best sex of our entire relationship because he made it a point to show me how much he loves me and how attracted to me he is.

I am so exceptionally lucky, I love him so much and he would say the same about me. Happy people exist! There just isn't a majority on this website

Also I look at DD now and I see us both, combined into one person. And it has changed my love for him completely into something much deeper. I have never been more in love than watching them sleep together peacefully. Our DD made us a family. So yes, it's changed everything.

Yes, but unless my DH is a complete lying scumbag who is patronizing me all the time without my knowledge he feels this way too.

Speaking for my husband: his goal in getting married has been fulfilled. He can cross off the checklist, "wife, kids." Then go back to the more exciting parts of his life (work, friends) while wife raises his trophies for him.
