why does subway smell so subway-y

I hate that smell, too! I hate the food but even if I loved it I would never go in because of the stink.

7-11 hs the grossest cleaner/bitter/rancid smell. DH is banned from there. *shudder*

CVS also has those yucky grey carpets. They're like old outdoor porch carpeting. You'd think that they would come up with a new look, because it makes the pharmacies look and feel dirty even if they aren't.[/quote

CVS does seem like a dirty convenience store because of the gross carpet.
