why does subway smell so subway-y

CVS also has those yucky grey carpets. They're like old outdoor porch carpeting. You'd think that they would come up with a new look, because it makes the pharmacies look and feel dirty even if they aren't.

I have always thought it smelled disgusting and I absolutely refuse to step inside subway for this reason. Once you walk in, you're gonna smell like that for the rest of the day. Bleh.

7-11s also have a horrible smell. I think it's the orange glow food they have under those lights. Yuck

I feel like a lot of places are like this. I went to a Peets Coffee last week and even though it didn't smell bad while I was in there, the whole rest of the day I smelled like burnt coffee. It was weird and gross.

+1 I've gotten used to it but have never gotten used to a K Mart.
