Working moms, would you ask for this special consideration if in my shoes?

Working abroad with an infant and 2yo sounds hellish. It is hard enough going on a week vacation with kids that age.

When I was on maternity leave, I committed to a trip to the Hamptons with a newborn and 2yo. Worst vacation ever. Seriously it was awful.

I used to have a PT consulting job when I had a 1yo and 3yo. I had a FT nanny and 3yo attended preschool. It was hard enough getting work done then.

I don't think it is as easy to just show up in a foreign country with a nanny and work from home. Logistics sound like a nightmare.
