Marrieds, thoughts on importance of father's role in school aged boys?

I'm a SAHM and take my kids to most of their activities. When the weather is nice, DH takes boys out to ride bikes, go fishing and play sports outside.

My 1st grader attends 2 after school activities at school. Your school should have them. Our school offers chess, art, music and sports. Other semesters the school offered science and cooking.

Did your son go to camp in the summer?

I used to work so I had to enroll him camp all summer. He didn't have much say. I just signed him up for a vast array of different camps at the rec center. He had fun. Some camps had someone he knew. Other camps he knew no one. He liked some camps and didn't care for others.

PP again. DH gives very little input on activities and camps. Even when I worked, I did the drop offs and pick ups.
