would ypu be in a relationship with a nanny?

Many nannies make more than preschool teachers. I've always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. As a nanny I make more.

My nanny is a guy and he has had girlfriends over the course of his employment with us.

Nanny here. I would absolutely love to be a preschool teacher, but the pay is far too low. I hope to stay at home with my own children.

Most nannies try to find a man with a career because they dont have one.

Would you have more respect for a preschool teacher who wanted to stay home when her children were young? For a preschool teacher who planned to return to work right away? A kindergarden teacher? Middle school? At what point do you respect a woman who works with children?

A career chasing money for a corporation? Yeah, that sounds rewarding.

I recently watched a Lifetime movie this past holiday season where a Nanny fell for a successful career man.

(He wasn't her employer.)

She really liked him, yet she also was ashamed of her profession & tried to hide the fact that she was a Nanny, instead she lied to him + told him she did something else.

Well in the end, he found out about it and he told her he still cared for her. That her career didn't impact his feelings at all.

Even though this was a fictionalized movie, I think the message it sends out is pretty much on point.

Men won't look down on being a Nanny as a deal-breaker, they are more concerned w/character and beauty over everything else.

I think men who don't rely on their wives incomes don't care.

I was a nanny when DH and I met, so I guess he did not see it as a negative thing.

My roommate is a teacher with a master's degree and I make 15k more than she does, and I'm a nanny

I would not mind but my wife would not approve.

But for 15k less she gets more respect.
