ripped jeans?

This girl is also not known for being trashy.

So, Palmero, adviser for Chanel etc., not Paris.

I hear what all you ladies are saying about it being a teenage look and trashy. I was thinking the same thing...until I went on a shopping spree the other day. You can't escape them. They are everywhere. They are the denim trend this season, unfortunately. I don't know that I could pull it off because wearing ripped clothing would just not settle with me; however, after seeing that it is the season's trend even in upscale fashion, I am more accepting! Consensus...how bad are these? I might consider them.

ha, I own them, and like them, not as much as my paige ones or the rag and bones - but I am a repeat offender.

Olivia is the biggest bitch in the world.

I have the worn looking boyfriend jeans-- not large rips but distressed and worn in places. These look trendy when paired with the right shoes and tops...or not when you are slumpy all over with flip flops like me at school drop-off. When I dress them up though- wedges, belt, nice top I always get compliments.

And clearly, you, anonymous, are a kind and lovely person….

I'm the 32 year old ripped denim lover who called them hot. I wear expensive ripped jeans, am in terrific shape and can pull them off. And Olivia Palermo is beautiful who has the most gorgeous husband. I have no idea about whether or not she's a bitch, but her style is 11/10.

My DH, 58, bought a pair of jeans on a business trip. They were from a western store. When he came home I thought, where did you get those ugly jeans? They had no wear, whiskering, lighter places, ect and looked awful. Solid colored blue jeans with nothing look ... cheap.

Like styles of the 90s we will look back and say, huh? But for now they are fun.

I have always loved tattered clothing, so when this trend came out, I jumped all over it. I think it looks great, but admittedly I didn't really fit in in DC, which for me was a little buttoned up. I'm sure by husband thinks I look like a slob (he's the type to obsessively iron everything), but I don't expect him to start dressing like me, either.

I have a pair. I love them. I'm not very fashionable, but I also don't care what other people think.

Hi! We are style soul mates probably, esp with the 1st picture. But I don't feel like I stand out too much in this area- probably because I live in the boring burbs now and not where anyone who might be a 'power player' might live!

I wore something similar to the first picture last week. I love this look and I am 39 and a mom of three. I have these http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=85732&vid=1&pid=602459002.
I love designer jeans but I just can't bring myself to spend more than 50 bucks for trendy ripped jeans.

30 year old plus sized ripped jean addict I wear them with booties, birkenstocks, chucks, etc. Simple tshirts and blouses on top and I look damn good in them.
