She didn't say she did not want kids though. She said she is surprised she is still childless and her hesitance makes sense given the Hamm quotes. He definitely did not want to have children and she it appears hung around in case he changed his mind. She must have low self esteem.

x2. Original PP you completely missed the point. No one is wringing their hands over Cameron Diaz, say- who has always said she doesn't want kids. This is someone who said she "couldn't believe" she hadn't had children yet, and presumably did it for the sake of her partner who has been very open about not wanting kids.

And now the relationship is over.

I disagree. She also said potential regret isn't a compelling enough reason. That sounds profoundly genuine to me, like something my friends who choose not to have kids say. Fact is, we don't know what she wants. But tabloids and gossipy women love to claim we think we can read her mind.

My sister kind of "can't believe" she doesn't have kids either because she always envisioned herself having them when she was younger. As she got older, however, she realized -- with a fair amount of suprise--that being a mother wasn't really what she wanted, it was just what she envisioned because it's the "norm" & what's generally expected.

That was definitely true in my case. Surprised I don't have kids and surprised I'm okay with it.

Since reading about how he was convicted (or just charged?) with physically abusing a kid in college, I've no longer considered him hot, just a dick. Reading the details of the case were disturbing. I like alpha males but not guys who abuse people.

This was news to me (friend of mine sent me the link from Page Six) so if it was old, so be it.

I met Jennifer Westfeldt twice at movie screenings, one of which was in 2002 when no one knew who she was in Hollywood. She was very down to earth both times, and extremely attractive. I can't believe she is in her 40's, she doesn't look it at all.

I mostly follow blindgossip.com, it aggregates most of the remotely credible stuff from other blogs.

She's one of my favorite actresses. I loved her in Kissing Jessica Stein. I hope she finds someone better than JH.

Too late to have a child with her genes. Unless she froze her eggs (but the technology 5 years ago when she was 40 and her eggs were likely still healthy enough to freeze was just starting to be reliable).

I saw her at the LA Film Fest when they showed Kissing Jessica Stein. She was super nice and lovely. Love that movie.
