Sometimes such a crush is a exercise in OCD. At times thought it is an avoidance of a serious issue in your life. Your focus and the resulting 'high' from this crush will work to mask over other things. Oh, OP, nothing wrong with that. I've had plenty of fangirl crushes with various celebrities. They come and go, some last a long time. They entertain me, give me fantasy material, give me some bonding opportunities with similarly-inclined friends.
