Ask yourself what having these feelings does to support you.
I would suspect it's to inspire hope, and/or distract from disappointment or loss. Maybe real men are letting you down.

I think it's fine to have a crush as a crutch to some degree, but when it interferes with addressing the difficult emotions that might push you towards action to seek a higher level of relief and possibly reciprocated love- then it becomes a burden. Consider getting a labradoodle.

I am 46 years old + recently saw a picture of Nick Jonas. You know the one w/out his shirt and w/his pants down almost to his _____ !!

I think it's okay though, when Nick was on "The View," Stacy London who is around my age confessed that she had a crush on him too.

But that is all it is, a crush. I would never date someone younger than all of my four kids.

I'm 45 and regularly make up stories in my head about celebrities like I'm still a teenager. The most recent one I was a photographer (IRL I only take pics on my iPhone) who lived in NYC across the hall from Benedict Cumberbatch's Model girlfriend. We became friends and he fell in love with me. LOL Had some great fantasies and DH reaped the rewards while that story was unfolding.

I see nothing wrong with having a celebrity crush as long as it's not having a negative impact on your life. Are your ignoring your spouse, kids, friends, family, job or other responsibilities? Are you spending money you don't have buying 20 different magazines every month? If not, enjoy the fantasy.
