that would never happen. private colleges get to be in the best of both worlds. Take federal money and practice holistic admissions.

I believe Fisher II next year will see the scotus really curtailing, if not banning, affirmative action for public flagships across the country.

I also believe the fallout will be that privates will move to increase holistic admissions.

Indian American and Asian Americans work hard. Very hard. They emphasize the importance of education and hard work to their children. And somehow that gives them an unfair advantage, enough that points are deducted from their SAT scores? This is the highest level of BS, to penalize kids like this.

The bottom line is this type of racism is rampant in liberalism, and it's those liberals who are pushing this 'holistic' admissions BS. It's their way of controlling college populations to ensure they fit into their little stereotypical boxes, so they can continue to move kids through the system like sheep. Colleges don't want independent thinkers anymore.

Definitely so. In what world is it OK to take points OFF a score simply because of race? Or for that matter, ADD points?

All it means is that they consider the stuff that grades and tests scores don't cover.

The rich and influential will always get in- no matter what the criteria.
