Why do people do this?

I don't sleep naked but my DS (15) nothing wrong with that.

I had a long stretch between 21-30 or so. It just felt way more comfortable.

I think my 3 year old would sleep nakedness if we let her! She always takes her clothes off when she gets home from preschool and usually hangs out in her underwear, which we make her keep on. Neither DH nor I sleep naked.

My teen DS sleeps in just underwear. He has since he was about 10. He does have one pair of pajamas/loungewear though, for sleepovers and pj/loungewear days at school.

And camp/college....

My boys wore gym shorts for that. However, they need pajamas for pajama day at school.

Yes I Think most teens know to put something on if they sleep in the same room as other people.

Maybe it's a generational thing?

Why do "my parts" need to breathe? 40 years without extended amounts of breathing time and it's doing just fine.

Anonymous wrote:I will NEVER sleep naked. My neighbor had a house fire years ago during the night, and she barely escaped in time, but she had to flee naked. After witnessing that, I decided I would always sleep with clothes on!

This. We had a fire in our house when I was a kid. Thankfully I wasn’t naked since the firemen got me out of my room.

They don’t. Unless you’re someone that constantly gets infections there is no recommendation to sleep underwearless https://www.livescience.com/54556-wearing-underwear-to-bed-health.html

+2. My mom always told my sis and me that and now I cannot stand sleeping in panties. It annoys me that I have to wear panties during my period. I generally sleep nude with just a sleep bra on; sometimes if it's an especially cold night I'll sleep in a short cotton nightie. Sleeping in flannel pj's would be unfathomable to me. I like lounging in them, though.

I can’t stand pjs at night, it’s like they’re clawing at me. Naked is the best. I started in high school but wore PJs in college bc of roommates.
