TRUST YOUR SPIDEY SENSE. And I am telling you this as someone who caused a major family blow up because I REFUSED to allow my child to be with someone in the extended family. My MIL was really pissed at me but I stood strong and will always be glad I did.
Do NOT allow this man to be alone with your child, ever. I beg you. Moms have spidey senses for a reason.
+1. I only leave my children with people who have proved themselves to be loving, competent, rational and completely reliable. Your FIL has not demonstrated all of these qualities and you are right to be concerned.
