What come after size 6 huggies overnight diapers?

Enh, in my experience, the weight ranges are meaningless!! I mean you have to consider height and girth, not just weight.

True but have you ever heard of a barely one year old who was too big for diapers period?

We ran into this problem with DD1. She was huge and a late walker. Once she started walking, she actually went down a size in diapers. Now at age 3.5, she's super skinny (but tall). DD2 is also 14 months (24 lbs) and wears Pampers Cruisers 5 due to her height only. We gave away the size 4s to a much shorter, but several months older boy... So totally depends on kid and doesn't shock me at all that OPs son needs bigger diapers!

Definitely experiment with other brands. We like Pampers, but had horrible leaks and rashes with Huggies.

Yes, I have, the OP of this thread's child. Get over yourself, PP. OP is having this issue, just because her child doesn't fit into what you think is normal doesn't mean it's not true. Geez!!

You personally know OP's kid?

There is no 14 month old that is too big for all diapers. OP in her own words wants them bigger than they're intended on her child. She may need to switch brands or deal with not sizing up for nighttime (plenty of people don't!) OP is not having the issue she us claiming to, she is having an issue with finding a solution she likes.

My DD definitely doesn't have this problem (completely opposite issue with her), but my friend who's DD sounds similarly sized uses Pamper's Swaddlers. I suspect that if you are well above the weight rating for a size, it's a matter of bad fit more than needing to size up. Again, on the other side of the spectrum, almost no brands "fit" DD properly even if the weight rating is correct. I would at least try other brands before sizing so far above the recommended weight range.

That's not what you asked.

Potty training.

Potty training a 14 month-old would be an act of utter frustration. Mine can't even sit on a seat by herself yet. Hang in there OP... You'll find a diaper that will work.

When we grew out of Huggies overnight for our off the charts babies we started using pampers cruisers size 6. They run much bigger than the Huggins overnights and are great.

Yeaaaahh. I don't think your 14 month old needs to be in size 6, let alone size 7. Change him once a night or cut the liquids before bedtime. That's kinda ridiculous.

Do people question whether I am serious? My son has always been 99.5% in weight and height so of course its not weird if he is bigger than your babies.

You may want to evaluate his diet.

I made a similar comment and I think it was deleted.

Yeah this is a bit odd. My HUGE 16 month old (34 inches, 26 lbs - something like 97% height 75% weight) is just outgrowing size 4. And his older brother, almost 4, wears size 2-3 pull-ups to bed (the smallest pull-up size they make, I think). How big is your child, OP?
