Sadly, the only child I knew with this name was stillborn. So, that was horribly sad.

How is hope cheesy? Is that just because you're anti-Obama or something?

I also think Margaux is a bit pretentious. I know someone who used this spelling - social climber who likes wine.

I think Hope is cheesy too. It's like Joy or Faith. Just very...literal?

Virtues are cheesy. Got it.

Don't name your baby by poll, especially not on DCUM the posters here are very fickle. OP. Choose something you and your partner if their is one like.
Any one of the names you listed is fine what's most important is that you like it.

Camille, then Hope, then Margot.

In that order.

Instead of saying "Hope all is well" I have to say "I hope all is well" or "How's it going?"
Small pet peeve, but just thought I'd bring it up

Thank you!! Hadn't thought of that.

You probably named your kid Addison you sound like a robot who lacks in creativity and makes decisions based on current popularity.

Thanks for the laugh - best one I've had all day. Um, hell no. Not even close. Thanks for playing.

I just think that unless you are from Europe, this spelling is pretentious.

Sorry I pissed you off, margaux's mom.

Margot! Or Margo

Camille is the only one that I'd even consider. Hope and Margot are both completely awful.

Another vote for Margot! But I'm a Margaret

Is hope a virtue? Or joy? I suppose many people might consider faith a virtue.

Hope - well, not my type of name.

I'm French and I would say Ca-MEEL. It's a beautiful name.

Camille. Hope seems to be trending down as too early 90s. and Margot has such a harsh sound.

My German relative named Margot pronounces it phonetically with the "t" sound at the end. I'd vote for Margo for that reason.

There was a recent thread where Hope got a whole lot of love. I dislike it. And I hate Margot. Absolutely LOVE Camille. I am so surprised Camille is not super popular.

Love all three names. I think you have great taste, OP!

Camille isn't popular, but Camila is #39 if that matters (it wouldn't matter to me). My favorites are Hope, Camille, and Margot, in that order.
