| I love the name Hope. Camille is #2. I don't like Margot at all. |
|
I have a friend named Hope. It's a great name, but I find that I have to change sentence structures sometimes when I text her.
Instead of saying "Hope all is well" I have to say "I hope all is well" or "How's it going?" Small pet peeve, but just thought I'd bring it up |
| I love Camille (I would say it Ca-MEE)-- I think it's about to trend up. I love Hope too but it's a little clunkier. Great middle name. I like Margot, but I also like Margaret. |
| Hope is kind of cheesy, Margot is great, Camille is awful |
I know I like the wine

All three are truly lovely, OP - but as a PP said, it is all about your last name.
A beautiful little girl in my first grade class was named Camille and everyone called her "Camie". So if all thinks are equal with your last name, Camille would be my vote. |
| I knew a Hope - she was quite lovely. Camila I love, but Camille...eh. I like Margot (a lot, have loved it for years) but prefer "Margo." |
| I really like Hope, but I wonder what would happen if your daughter turns out to be super sarcastic or something (not that sarcastic people aren't hopeful, but it would just be odd). |
| Love Margot. Like Camille and Hope. All three are lovely. |

1. Camille!
2. Margot 3. Hope |

Well, I'm partial to hope because it is my middle name. Kept it instead of my maiden. Always wished it had been my first name.
Sadly, the only child I knew with this name was stillborn. So, that was horribly sad. How is hope cheesy? Is that just because you're anti-Obama or something? I also think Margaux is a bit pretentious. I know someone who used this spelling - social climber who likes wine. |
| My baby sister is named Hope - she is six and it is perfect for her! I love the name. |
| note hope. too sappy. the other two are fine. |
I think Hope is cheesy too. It's like Joy or Faith. Just very...literal? |
