26 year old dating a 20 year old college junior...

Yes it is very weird.

In regards to dating, there is never a true definition of the term "normal" just so you know.

I know a 30 yr old divorced dad of 1, without a college education, dating a 21 yr old college jr long distance. THAT seems really weird to me. I don't understand how she can't find someone with better "credentials" closer to home because she's pretty cute and smart from what I know.

I agree. Plus that is a huge age difference for the college student. I

Not really. If he was 30+, it would be weird.

That was me. We almost got married when I graduated.

My thought is the 26 yr old does not have the best interests of the 20 yr old in mind. And this is not nice. It is selfish. Is there any other indication of wanting to dominate the 20 yr old?

If not, it may be ok. Some 20 yr olds have had a lot of life experience, including a lot of experience with men.

They should view each other as equals.

I dated a 27 year old guy when I was a 20 yo college junior. Relationship only lasted about 6 months. He was very immature!

Normal. My 20-year-old daughter is dating a 26-year-old man she met through mutual friends. She's dated younger guys before, but this guy is perfectly sweet and age-appropriate. I think their maturity levels are similar.
