| I dated two different guys who were 25 when I was a 19/20-year-old college junior. One was a grad student and one was a friend of my older sister. |
| yeah whatever. My classmate met her 28 yr old MBA husband when she was a junior. 10 years later, they live the plush good life and have an adorable daughter. Don't be a hater OP. |
Really? I always felt sorry for the girls that dated older. The guys who were our age were just so much hotter. I always felt like they just couldnt get a hot college dude, so they had to go after the thirsty 27 year olds. |
| One of my best friends is 29 dating a 22 year old. At least he's drinking age, some of the previous guys weren't. I think it gives her a sense of confidence to be admired and in a sense looked up to. She never got that kind of attention from guys our own age. More power to her, I say! |
I get that attention from guys of all ages, but there is something about a younger man. The energy, the fun, the verve, the sex drive, the body... I just love it, tbh. |
Same, but a little older, more in the 28-32 range. They treated me like gold. It was amazing. |
| Yes, it's normal. And no there isn' tanything wrong with it. |
I totally get it. |
Agreed. I always felt like they had to date older because they just weren't cute enough to get one of the cool college guys. |
I dated older because college boys were immature and didn't have any money. I'd rather spend my weekends going to upscale restaurants, drinking in public without getting carded, hanging out in houses and lofts I couldn't afford, talk about literature and politics, etc. Keg stands, mixers, and the same guys all my friends had already hooked up with are only so much fun. |
Yeah, I'm sure they were *real* thirsty. |
IDK. I went to a rich kid school so it wasn't an issue for me. My first date with my college BF, who was in my year and social chair for his frat, he took me to Nobu, and had a pledge chauffeur us in his Range Rover. So yeah, I was never really forced into dating olds. Thank goodness. |
Wow, you were one cultured woman. Like there aren't any men in college who don't talk about literature and politics. Your posts scream lazy. |
I had boyfriends who were in college and also dated older men. My friends called it my "hobby" boyfriends: example, I loved early 20th century art and dated a well known international art dealer. I was an economics major and dated a financier. College boys have things to offer but so do older men

This sounds like an episode of The Bachelor. I'm jealous. |
