| Love, Love, Love this show! They all crack me up! I think Simon and Alex have some sort of special arrangement with the producers NOT to interact with the others......after last season when the rest of the cast told them what they thought of them........they seem to do their own thing now. They are such pretentious fools - do they really think they are fooling the audience that they are somehow so sophisticated? They are insecure wanna-be's......it is pitiful! I wish I knew someone in NYC who actually knew these people - I'd love to get the inside-inside scoop! |

I think Alex and Simon are only in it for the money, to fix up their house, and they could care less what anyone thinks about them because the money is more important.
The Countess is 47 if she is a day - I'm 39.5 and there is no way we are the same age. |
| How much money are they getting for this? I think most of them would do it for free for the exposure. |
I have to think that's why Bethenny does it - to promote her business. |

I was a semi-fan of Alex last season but I almost vomited when I saw she was drinking champagne when the architect was over. And wearing some kind of cocktail dress. And that business about built-ins so she could go to The Strand and buy all the works of Dickens so that Francois could just "pull one off the shelf"-- WTF? Also, Simon's line about how he feels bad or some such for the architect who manages the renovation because he will just be implementing "my vision"--oh, God.
Love Jill. And Bethenny. |
Ditto. Ditto. Ditto. |

And oh my how terrible to have a tv in the bedroom even in a short-term vacation home.
Horrors! |

I actually like Alex and Simon in spite of the fact that they seem to be living in an alternate universe. LuAnne simply married into money and royalty and brought nothing to the marriage except her tolerance for her husband's constant absences, her ability to keep her mouth shut and her nice body/face.
Ramona has some kind of Terret's and for the life of me, I cannot understand how her husband is able to tolerate her. Sorry to say, but I also think she is quite unattractive. Bethenny rocks, but she really is just too in your face. I hope she finds a man that can deal with it. And yes, the fake boobs are a bit of a turn-off. She would be perfectly fine w/out them since she has a rock-hard body and an attractive face. I didn't realize she had had plastic surgery on her face. I loved that Ramona was able to rattle LuAnn at the Cancer center (and yes, I also saw that poor woman w/ cancer in the background), but it was totally inappropriate. The Count is pretty old and unattractive, but who is Ramona to criticize. She is pretty ugly herself. And yes, I agree, LuAnne was CLEARLY jealous of Bethenny's photo spread. Oh, and what about Bethenny having to pay for LuAnne's surf lesson? What a cheapskate. Jill is just too funny. I think she is completely neurotic, but she is a good person at heart. I like her. |
| Yes, Alex and Simon are incredibly pretentious but really are peas in a pod... they seem very well-suited for each other. The built-in bookshelf business... I was rolling my eyes. I love Jill and Bethenny. The Countess lost me last season when she refused to shake hands with the driver. |

Does no one else here believe that Simon is gay? I thought that was the prevailing wisdom?

btw, I forgot how I found it but I managed to find the website for the boutique hotel that Simon manages (the name of which I can't remember now). There's a photo of Alex and one of the kids on it. They had some very good deals during February.
I find Alex and Simon incredibly pretentious but so much that I feel sorry for them. |

I just saw that Alex lost her job.

Kelly was arrested for assaulting her boyfriend:

Well, Ramona did mention something about her broad shoulders.
Love the Bethhany quote... Fellow "Housewives" co-star Bethenny Frankel stood by Bensimon: "I cannot imagine this being true, but all I can say is love shouldn't hurt." |
