This. I hope OP does not have kids. |

When any boy/man starts a story with " my friend " " I know someone that ", you can bet it's about him and he's just trying to see what your reaction is should be be caught.
A good friend of mine used to tell me stories about how she thought her husband might be cheating. He'd tell her stories about women they both knew, how he thought they were having affairs, they were trying to hit on him and it would upset her. Come to find out, all the stories were true only HE was the one trying to initiate an affair. She divorced him. |

He sounds totally immature and in need of validation from fucking different women.
If I were you, i would run like hell. Seriously. GTFO asap. |

I'm OP. Sorry for the confusion. I was trying to write this on a bumpy subway with barely any sleep. It doesn't make much sense now that I reread it.
Thank you all for the responses. I do believe that often times when they refer to friends, its usually themselves. I too, believe that text was meant for someone else. We were texting at that moment when I got that. We talked majority of that night but it could of been meant for another woman. We met online. For the pp who asked age, I am 22 and he is 31. I think I'm going to end it tonight. I have a sick feeling I'm right about all of this. |
| at your respective ages, you are in different places. |
Trust your gut. As a 26 year old woman, I find it creepy that a 31 year old is dating a 22 year old anyway. Trust me, you will grow so much between 22 and 25. Fresh out of college is way too young, IMO, to be having a relationship with a 31 yo. |

Where there is smoke, there's fire.
He sounds like an immature ass. |

Your posting was a little difficult to comprehend OP, but from the gist of it, yes, your gut is telling you to run for the hills.
Your man is nothing but a no good cheating whore who will break your heart and leave you in tears sooner rather than later. I promise. |
| Is his name Kenny? If so, RUN! |
| Listen to your gut. |
