if Crestwood gets a sweet deal for Deal, why not Cleveland Park and Woodley Park too?

Crestwood is her base.

This. Dance with the one that brought you. I think you can see a similar dynamic with her hesitance around a bus lane on 16th street.

For what I saw, there wasn't a lot of support for Bowser from Crestwood. I saw a lot of support for Catania. Did polling numbers show otherwise?

And she lost Ward 3. Big time.

Maybe so but she won EOTP ward 4 which is a big chunk of Lafayette and expected to go for Catania.

What streets east of rock creek park are zoned for Lafayette?

None. I think some people do not realize that Ward 4 is on both sides of the park, that Lafayette is physically in WOTP Ward 4 but its boundary is in both Ward 3 and WOTP Ward 4, and that Murch is physically in Ward 3 but its boundary is in both Ward 3 and WOTP Ward 4. The new boundaries change this such that the Ward 4 part of Murch (and the northernmost part of the Ward 3 part of Murch) will go to Lafayette. Lafayette's boundary will still be all WOTP.

There really is no "Ward 4 part of Murch" as if that's a thing. If there is any of Ward 4 zoned for Murch, it's about one block.

IDK if anyone would call it "a thing" but it is a fact that the school boundaries include families who live and vote in Ward 4; at least until next year. No big deal, just a correct and nominally interesting statement of fact.
