I am going to try to get a refund. Sales associate said spouse does not need to attend so I was given misinformation. As pp have suggested, we can do a day trip or get a hotel closeby. It's not like the condo is adjacent to the water park. Looks like we would have to drive to/from the waterpark and other activities anyway. |
There are no housing options that are adjacent or very walkable to the water park. It's not a very walkable resort. |
When we did it a year ago, the spouse had to attend if you were married, but they had a kids' club that you could leave the kids at. It took about 2 hours. We just repeatedly said, "it just isn't for us" and didn't engage the salesperson in any arguments or debates. Then it was over with. |
\\ OMG - Grow a Vagina and JUST WALK OUT! "We have listened for our required 90 minutes. We are not interested. Thank you for your time" and walk away. |
Mention you can buy a week on Redweek for pennies... |
| OP did you go? How was it? I saw the sales person at Arundal Mills and since I'm planning a weekend trip with DD and her friends for WaterPark and Snowtubing, I thought I would pay the $100 for timeshare and Visa gift card. Is the Condo close to either of those? Is the snowtubing better than White Tail, meaning longer steeper slopes? I'm bored with White Tail and Liberty and wanted to try a different place to Snowtube. Anyone? Thoughts? TIA!! |
I bet they hold the $100 gift cards until they finish |
Easier said than done. First breakfast (dry muffins and danish ), late start to long sales pitch, walking/ touring around resort, etc. It's not like a car salesman wherr you can walk away. These are pros who pride themselves getting stubborn and skeptical time share owners. They already got you once - you were obviously convinced on the 100 dollar weekend. Just reeling you along... |
Yep everything is withheld under the manager can sign off. For the PP who mentioned the kids club - it's only for older kids. If I reme correctly they have to be potty trained. |
