Part of it is they always have to "check with a manager" and then he comes out & tries the harder sell, when that fails they bring out the next guy who basically tells you that your an idiot if you don't take this deal.  Yes, there is some sort of voucher at the end, it might be bonus one though.  Whatever you do, don't give them anyone's phone number, unless you hate that person & want to have them get spam phone calls for the next two years.[/quote]

Exactly. You are stuck waiting so the forms can be signed that you fulfilled the obligation so you get th 99 a night price and not the going rate (which is crazily overinflated). I recall the paperwork stating the spouse had to be there if you are married. They know no one is going to buy a timeshare without the spouse there too which is why they insist both attend. [/quote]

I am going to try to get a refund. Sales associate said spouse does not need to attend so I was given misinformation.

As pp have suggested, we can do a day trip or get a hotel closeby. It's not like the condo is adjacent to the water park. Looks like we would have to drive to/from the waterpark and other activities anyway. [/quote]
