The schools are similar in name only. If the names confuse you, college should be out of the question. |
If you are considering these schools, college should be out of the question. |
Both good schools, IMO but don't see the same kid applying to both. BTW, the kids know the difference between the schools, it's the parents who are remarkably clueless. |
Who'd send their child to a school that was more than 80% white? |
Just a refresher. |
Only if you want to out yourself as a complete moron. If Paul Ryan ever wins an election in Ohio we are all well and truly fucked. |
Or, you'll look knowledgable. Lots of people know 2 Miami (Ohio) alums: Paul Ryan and Big Ben. And lot know that Marco Rubio represents Florida. |
I feel like you have some agenda but I can't figure out what it is. |
I graduated from Univ of Miami almost 20 years ago. Most students I knew were from rich families. If you didn't drive at least a BMW, you weren't even allowed to park in front of frat houses.
But the campus was gorgeous, I loved the city, and it's a great school. Was very different than my freshman year at a public school. Private feels soooo different. |
I don't know. People don't confuse Michigan with Michigan State or Florida with Florida State so why can't people decipher Miami University from University of Miami once and for all? |
