That said, that's just the way I see it. It breaks my heart and makes me sick that we even have to talk about this. Not even animals are this bad to each other.
+1. to me they were extremely brave, especially considering they knew the guy by them was holding a knife and not a gun. the idea they cold die fighting is stupid. they were tortured for two years, if they fought back the terrorist would have simply stopped the movie, beat them up and start all over again. maybe they told them that if they did not cooperate they would have killed the other hostages in front of them, or some innocent civilians brought to the place for that purpose. if a terrorist of that type hold a gun to the head of two or three toddlers in front of their parents and tell you that if you do not cooperate they are dead, what would you do, knowing that you would be dead anyway? we don't know what happens, but I think there is no doubt that they were brave and had nothing to be ashamed of in their behavior
