OP here. I didn't say it was bad - just not special. But yes, that Groupon is for the same restaurant. If I had known that was out there I probably wouldn't have gone there. Groupon is a red flag that a restaurant is hurting for business. Should have gone to 2941

OP here. Thanks. We've been to and enjoyed 2941... just thought we'd try something different. But we'll stick with that for tried and true Our other go-to (if anyone is interested) tends to be J. Gilberts when we have DS with us.

Wow- didn't 't know that it is a bad sign that the place is on groupon. Thx. Was planning a dinner at Trummers w DH but not anymore- they are on groupon. Thanks!

Just a red flag to me that they are trolling for business... I think a special occasion place shouldn't fall into that category. JMHO though.

I agree completely with you 14:28- great restaurants should never be on groupon- that's why I won't be going to Trummers on the Main anymore.

My DH and I have frequented a few exquisite restaurants that have had deals on Living Social. I don't agree at all.
