Disney cruise in December -- Bahamas ware temp ok?

I went in January and it was great but this was about 7 years ago. Also went in February 5 years ago, and it was totally swimming weather.

We went on the disney cruise 4 years ago in January and while the air temp was mild, the ocean temp was freezing. We went back 2 years ago, but in early december and it was pretty much the same. The ocean is too cold to enjoy swimming and the air temp just isn't hot enough to warm you up if you do go in. The pools on the ship were better, but just a bit...they were heated, but you had to stay submerged to stay warm, otherwise the breeze that swept over the ship would give you frostbite.

We have also taken the cruise during non-winter months and had a BALL!!! The only downside to going on spring/summer break is overcrowding
