Most of the listing descriptions are useless anyhow. The house isn't small, it's charming. The house isn't a dilapidated shack, it's a "fixer upper with good bones". And the use of cheesy cliches knows no bounds. If I see one more listing in "highly sought after Chevy Chase, DC" or "highly sought after Barry Farms", I'll puke. |
That's not a fixer upper. That's a nice home with upgrades made for the current owners who did what they needed to make them comfortable. Our house was a fixer upper. Great bones but every part of the house needs touched (and years later we still haven't done it all). |
