The lazy side of me would pick Fridays. Three-day weekend every week, and four at holidays.
But I think Wednesdays would work better as far as keeping up with life. Work two days, then have a day to catch up on laundry, get ahead with some cooking, take a nice nap. Then weekends would have more time for family and fun stuff. Personally, I do better with that little bit of structure. |

| My husband takes off Fridays and loves it. Lots of 4 day weekends when Monday is a holiday. My brother takes off Wednesdays and says its a nice way to break up his week since he only ever does 2 days at a time, but I'd rather have the 3 day weekend |
