OP, I am so sorry you are reading such mean responses such as PPs.

I agree with a couple of other posters that it is totally normal to feel this way. For anyone who has experienced infertility issues, it is part of the process to ask yourself, "Why me?" Then, it's like a double whammy when you see someone who appears to not really want to be a parent blessed with children, and taking it for granted.

At one point, I was pregnant in my second trimester but we weren't sure if the baby was going to make it (she didn't) but my doctor sent me to see a specialist at Shady Grove Hospital. As I was in the waiting room, there was one other couple - either late teens or early 20's, openly talking about partying ("You were so f---ed up last night!", and talked about the hassle of getting there since they had to borrow someone's car. She was pregnant naturally with triplets. I literally started crying right there in the waiting room when I heard that, and felt the exact same things you did. Why her and not me?

My best advice to you is to keep trying. It will happen. Ignore the naysayers and mean women on DCUM. If you need to cry and complain, cry and complain. Stay positive though.

I totally get it - in a different way. My dad is a drunk and an abuser. My husband's dad was the best human being on earth and he died but mine is still alive and abusive.
