Stuck to schedule -- no reason not to, IMO. No ill effects, not even a slight fever

Stuck to schedule with my son now age 4, except that we didn't do everything at his 4 year check up, just to avoid sticking him that many times.

We're expecting number 2 now, and will spread things out and not do Hep B, and maybe some others. I would like to just follow the Sears alternative schedule, but my husband has become a freak about shots--was furious when I got flu shots for my pregnant self and our son, and I really don't know how we're going to reach an agreement.

Went with the schedule; at the 4-yr appt., picked 2 of the 4 that are recommended for age 4-6 (because of pain, not health fears). Got the other 2 at the 5 yr appointment.

FWIW, this was my decision after reading Sears.

After my youngest son suffered a very bad reaction to his 2 month vaccines, he has not had any more shots - he is now 18 months. I am getting ready to start doing 1-2 shots at a time to catch him up to what is needed for preschool. As an aside, his older brother had seizures after one set of shots. So my kids seem prone to vaccine reactions. I am very scared about starting shots again. I wish they would figure out what makes some kids susceptible to reactions, and how to vaccinate them more safely. As it is, we parents have to figure it out basically on our own.

Stuck to ped's schedule - except did not get first Hep B shot in hospital, and if my ped gave the MMR and varicella (chk pox) at the same time, I would have asked to separate them.

Two kids - stuck to schedule. Only reaction was to the flu shot - swelling and itching at injection site - so now use the FluMist.

stuck to schedule until i started reading. have been spacing/delaying beginning with 12 mo appt. am pregnant with #2 and will do delayed schedule from birth (no hep B, no more than 2 shots/visit) but will eventually get them all i guess!

Went with schedule after researching and talking to doctors. No reactions for DD who is 25 months. Will do the same with DC2 - due later this year.

I spaced them out, just a little. A week or two here and there, on visits where it seemed like a lot.
