Let's not get carried away now. Yes it can be done. Even I could do it and I'm not overweight. Heck, after some heavy drinking, I can lose 4lbs in a night. Last time I over indulged, I took advantage of it and kept 2lbs of it off.

I've been very stressed and dropped 8lbs in a week before.

It's 'easy' dropping off the first few pounds; losing 10 while nursing is a different story.

What about those body wrap things? If you juice and use those for two weeks, I bet you can drop 10 lbs.

OP, I too am about 40 pounds overweight. I was 60 pounds overweight and I've lost the first 20. No one noticed a difference until I lost 20 pounds. How tall are you? 10 pounds down might not give you an appreciable difference in appearance. I had to lose 20 lbs to truly go down one size (there is a big difference between a 16 and a 14 and an even huger jump to get down to an actual 12, at say, J Crew).

I'm not saying you shouldn't try, but slow and steady wins the race and if you go nuts the next two weeks to lose 10 pounds, you will be miserable on vacation anyway because you are going to want to eat and indulge and you will put the 10 back on by day 3 of the vacation.

Get some cute cotton gauze cover ups to wear at the beach if you are that worried about it. I wear them at the beach and pool often. I have this one in 3 different prints and I get compliments in them often.

Also, as a bigger woman, I don't go to the beach/pool looking like a slob. I wear my cute Lilly tunic over my suit and also wear a chic sunhat (better for your skin anyway!) and I also wear leather sandals like these instead of rubber thongs

A slightly more glam beach look might help you feel more confident!

Oh shut up. I still had 35 lbs of baby weight at 10 months post-partum, even with exclusively breastfeeding (no pumping, no supplementing), eating healthy and staying active. OP, I agree with the other PPs (not this one) that you shouldn't do the cleanse. It's not good for you or baby. Relax and enjoy your vacation.

Well, some of us just care more about our bodies, and are focused and work harder.

WW and Gillian's workout video did wonders for me.

You might not lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks, but you could lose close to that if you're overweight to begin with. Might not work for everyone but its a pretty good bet. It is v common to lose a lot the first week or two if you have a lot to lose. Its a v healthy program, supportive, and you can do it while nursing.
