| Lol, we kept Almond, Soy, 2% and whole in the house. |
| DC drinks lactose free whole milk (doesn't like almond/coconut/soy milk) and we drink skim. |
| We buy 2 milks - whole milk for DS, 2% for us. |
|
We buy so much milk and go through it very quickly. Right now we are down to just 2 kinds - 1% for the adults and 2% for the kids. When the littlest was under 2, though, we bought whole milk for him.
When I do my weekly order from Peapod, I usually order 1 gallon of 1% and 2 gallons of 2%. And we go through it, no problem. i have three boys - 10, 5 and 2.5. |
| Whole milk only has 20 calories more than 2%. Don't bother. |
| We did until the youngest was 2. Now it is 1% for the whole house. |
My son would never drink whole milk. He would only drink 2%. That is why for us. |
Well, I like it, and drink a lot, but organic milk generally has a much further out expiration date. It's not a weekly trip for us. |
|
We do that. Whole for the skinny 14 year old and 1% for us grownups because we like it best.
Not so hard. There's room in the fridge. |
it is a taste thing. and the cappuccino froth is different. bubbles are smaller in 1%, and we prefer the lower fat feeling in our mouth. not always about calories. meanwhile, our teen is underweight, so we try to slop in calories anywhere we can. |
dha doesn't do anything for you, anyway. |
| Nobody drinks 1%? |
Really?? Links please. |
| No, just whole. |
I posted earlier that we drink 1%. My youngest is 5 now, so we had one year of whole + 1% and now down to just one kind of milk. 1% rules. It's light enough to be thirst-quenching without the lovely blue-gray color of skim. |
