Be honest - do you get Botox, and what is it like?

I'm 29 and doing preventative Botox on small crows feet as well as one eye brow is slightly lower than the other (lifts the eyebrow). I got a headache the other day. It was only $175 for 6 injection sites.

Good idea to get ahead, its better to start early before the lines set in

I get Botox and love it. I get my whole forehead done including my 11's. Some area's on the forehead sting but I'm a pain wimp. It feels like a deep bee sting but it's worth it. Fwiw my forehead still has some movement; it's not frozen. I get about 40 units.

I've done it twice. I'm 43. Loved the effect but it wore off after 2 months. I have very strong forehead muscles, my doc says. Not sure I'll do it again--it cost $700 each time.

My theory is that people are looking at static images of themselves in a mirror. Maybe if they videotaped themselves talking and trying to make expressions, they'd realize how strange they look?

you must be one of those 45 year olds who gets "carded all the time" because they "eat right, exercise, use sunscreen...". yeah right.

Have you considered that many more of your acquaintances also use Botox, they just don't advertise it to everyone? Plenty of people quietly use it, don't tell others, and look good because they're just using a relatively small amount, which softens lines but still allows movement. Done with a light touch, it can have good results.

I'm in my mid 30s, spend $225 on a big-ass bottle of Chanel Le Lift Serum every so often, and find that it works really well. I get carded constantly since using it. Cheaper than Botox and way more natural-looking.

+1
Funny how people assume they know exactly what everyone around them is doing. I am not using Botox but if I were to use it, I wouldn't tell a soul.

You can get filler under your eyes. I put it off for a while because it scared me but it turned out to be totally fine. It definitely made a difference. Next time I might even do a little more.
