How would I know if the letter was lost in the mail? I submitted a parent referral package. I am waiting for the rejection letter to see if I should appeal or not.

Just ask the AART at your school why you didn't get a letter that your child was in the pool. It is a hard, set rule: 132 in any one section of the CogAT (though not necessarily composite) or on the NNAT and your child is in the pool. Since your child met that minimum score in an area, she IS in the pool, but you just didn't get the letter for some reason.
