The character of Archie Bunker was 46 when "All in the Family" premiered. Never wanted to fuck him. Ever.

| Archie was played by Carroll O'Connor, whose wife was 5 years younger. You're done here. |

the vitriol shows its when older men and younger women are considered together - but being a cougar is cool!
|
Carroll O'Connor was 27 when they were married. What is your point?
|
Honestly, I don't know. I don't have any vitriol for older men, nor do I know anyone IRL who does. I do know know plenty of women in their 40s who date both both younger and older, and I don't hear them harping about age like I do here. Lots of people on this board have issues, but many more of us don't. Maybe you don't here more from those of us who don't because we find the whole issue kind of silly and not worth thinking too deeply about. Whoever you are, man or woman, whether you refer to women over 40 as "grandma" (I'm guessing you were trying for an insult, there, but failed) or not, I hope you find a good person who turns you on and is someone you enjoy spending time with, so you won't worry about whatever nonsense people here throw at each other. |

*hear, not *here.
Sorry. |
I am the first P here. No, I am not a women in her 40s or 50s losing out to younger women. I am a married man in his 50s, who finds 50 year old men dating women 15 years younger to be disgusting. Frankly, the women have nothing to say, as they have done nothing, yet. |
| Women do not get more to say or more interesting when they get older. If shes vapid at 22, she will still be at 47. |
Men in their early years are obsessed with tits and ass, so they don't really notice the beauty of women until they're older. Hence older men are more appreciative and accommodating. Women in their early years can't see past Cinderella fairytales, so they don't really notice the ugliness of women until they're older. Hence older women are more uncompromising and bitchy. |
