You seem balanced, but what's with the hatred and vitriol for older men on this board? I'm assuming it comes from 40ish women, but it's really off-putting. Do you have friends that think like this? I don't see men with the same hatred and vitriol for older women. We love grandma, even though we don't want to date her. Lots of women on this board with ISSUES.

Honestly, I don't know. I don't have any vitriol for older men, nor do I know anyone IRL who does. I do know know plenty of women in their 40s who date both both younger and older, and I don't hear them harping about age like I do here.

Lots of people on this board have issues, but many more of us don't. Maybe you don't here more from those of us who don't because we find the whole issue kind of silly and not worth thinking too deeply about.

Whoever you are, man or woman, whether you refer to women over 40 as "grandma" (I'm guessing you were trying for an insult, there, but failed) or not, I hope you find a good person who turns you on and is someone you enjoy spending time with, so you won't worry about whatever nonsense people here throw at each other.[/quote]
