Should I switch from Yahoo to Verizon email?

Anonymous
It's 8 years after Verizon shut down it's email services,, evidently in 2017 and I am just learning this. Is there anyway to get access to these emails back that anyone knows of? I was not using my verizon.net email account so I did not know it was going to shut down.

Yes, I know this is an old old tread. TIA

This.

Yahoo was majorly hacked about 5-10 years ago and everyone left to go to other services. If you see someone with a Yahoo email address it is like seeing someone with an AOL address.

Given their previous security breach I tend to not even email with people with Yahoo address.

Which email service do you suggest?

There’s nothing wrong with hotmail, it’s just outlook now and is much better than Gmail. Gmail is for the ignorant, and possibly the worst choice you can make for email. Even iCloud.com is better than that. Proton is decent but takes more setup. In general, avoid Google like the plague.
